40ft High Cube Reefer Containers give you more space than a standard reefer. They are taller, letting you store more lightweight, bulky goods that need to stay cold.

Why Pick a High Cube?

You get 15-20% more storage space inside. This is perfect for goods that are light but take up a lot of room.

Important Things to Know

The Cooling Unit: It’s as powerful as a standard reefer, but has to cool a larger space. It keeps the same temperature range: -30°C to +30°C (-22°F to 86°F).

Power: Needs standard 3-phase power, just like any reefer.

Loading: You must leave an air gap at the top for cold air to circulate. Load pallets evenly and don’t block the ceiling vents.

Buying Used vs. New

Used High Cube Reefer:

  • Cost: $15,000 – $25,000 (more than a standard used reefer).

  • Check: Make sure the ceiling isn’t damaged and the cooler works for the taller space.

New High Cube Reefer:
