Return and Refunds Policy
Return and Refunds Policy for Custom Cube Crafters
Last Updated: May 5, 2026
At Custom Cube Crafters, we want customers to purchase with confidence. This policy explains our return eligibility, return transportation costs, restocking fees, and refund procedures for shipping containers purchased in Canada.
Return Eligibility
Customers may request a return within 30 calendar days of receiving their order.
To qualify for a standard change-of-mind return, the container must be in substantially the same condition as delivered and must not have been modified, damaged, or altered after delivery.
All returns require prior authorization from our customer support team.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, contact us through our Contact Us page within 30 days of delivery.
Please provide your order number, the reason for the return, and photographs of the container where applicable.
Our team will review your request and provide return authorization and transportation instructions.
Do not arrange return transportation until your return has been authorized.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns, including purchases made in error.
Because shipping containers require specialized transportation, return freight charges depend on the container size, pickup location, and transportation requirements.
The original CAD $470 delivery fee is non-refundable for standard change-of-mind returns once delivery has been completed.
If a return is required because of an incorrect, defective, or materially misdescribed product, Custom Cube Crafters will provide an appropriate remedy, including applicable return transportation arrangements, at no additional cost where required by law.
Restocking Fee
A 10% restocking fee applies to approved standard change-of-mind returns.
The fee is calculated using the purchase price of the returned product, excluding separately charged delivery fees and applicable taxes.
Restocking fees do not apply to returns involving defective products, incorrect items, or other circumstances where applicable consumer protection laws require a remedy without such a charge.
Refund Processing
After the returned container has been received and inspected, we will notify the customer of the refund outcome.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.
For eligible change-of-mind returns, applicable restocking fees and any non-refundable delivery charges will be deducted from the refund, subject to applicable law.
The time required for refunded funds to appear in the customer's account may depend on their financial institution.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
Customers should inspect their containers upon delivery and contact us promptly if an item arrives damaged, defective, or different from the product ordered.
Please provide the order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs where possible.
We will review the concern and arrange an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
Customized and Modified Containers
Containers manufactured or modified to a customer's specific requirements may not qualify for standard change-of-mind returns where this restriction was clearly disclosed before purchase.
This restriction does not affect any non-excludable consumer rights or remedies under applicable law.
Order Cancellations
Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact our support team as soon as possible.
Cancellation eligibility and any applicable charges depend on whether the order has entered processing, modification, or transportation.
Any cancellation charges will be explained to the customer and applied only where permitted by applicable law.
